Facilities

Bell, Lamb & Trotter, Funeral Directors are situated at 297 Ferry Road, Christchurch. Operating from the Ferry Park Chapel, we are centrally located to the city, eastern cemeteries and crematorium. However, we serve the whole of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula, and even assist families internationally when death has occurred away from the country of residence.

Services may be held in a variety of locations including our chapel, either of the crematorium chapels, churches, halls, gardens and homes. We have vehicles and all necessary equipment to make services possible at any desired location.

Our chapel seats comfortably 180 people with additional seating in the lounge for a further 70, plus standing room for over 200. In 2003 the Chapel had a major facelift. The Chapel has been redesigned and now mourners have a restful water feature and a garden view to reflect on. We provide ample off-street parking.

An up-to-date audio system enables us to play personally selected music during a service. We are also able to audio and video record services for family and friends who are unable to attend.

We are able to provide refreshment in the chapel foyer and portico, enabling families and friends to spend valuable time together without the burden of catering.
